Tu B’Shvat is similar to Arbor Day and New Years for trees. It is used for calculating the age of trees for the religious purpose of tithing. (see Leviticus 19:23-25). This year it occurs on the ninth of February. Torah tells us that a Jew may not derive any benefit.

Feeding Kids

Marko was a truck driver. He picked up shipping containers from the port in Ashdod and delivered them. In June of 2007, he picked up, what was supposed to be an empty container to deliver. Unknown to him or the port authorities was that this twenty foot container had a false.

HIS Hanukah Party

G-D be praised and His name be blessed; for He has done great things! We did not know what to expect on Thursday night. The guests were invited, the decorations made, the Hanukah boxes prepared and the food purchased. On the seventeenth, a Kassam fell in the center of town.
