Hope for Sderot was established in 2008 as a Humanitarian Aid organization to help the people of Sderot.
Twenty one years of rocket attacks from terrorists in Gaza have left this small town damaged in so many ways as the people continue to live with the ongoing daily trauma of never knowing when the next rocket will come, or where it will land.

Many, who could afford to leave Sderot, have left, taking many of the jobs with them, leaving a lack of employment opportunities. For many families, that leaves them without enough income to make ends meet. For those who have been Injured by terrorist rocket attacks, their ability to work, as well as the physical and mental effects have changed their lives dramatically and will last the rest of their lives.
First and Foremost:
With dignity, respect, and unconditional love, it is our Goal to help those who have been injured by Kassam rockets. With your help and support we will be able to supply food, clothing, financial aid, education scholarships and other much needed assistance.
Secondly:
To bring awareness to the plight of the people of Sderot, from the vantage point of living in Sderot.
We are not run or operated by any religious organization, nor are we affiliated with any missionary or religious groups. We do, however, welcome and accept donations from anyone who wants to help the residents of Sderot who have been the target of well over 14,000 terrorist rocket attacks; and counting.
It is reported often that we suffer from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) But that is far from the truth because there is nothing “Post” about the ongoing, daily, 24/7, 365 days a year threat that has been going on for the past 21 years. What we ALL suffer from is ATSD (Accumulative Traumatic Stress Disorder) because there is nothing “post” about our situation.
Among the worst hurt victims of the past 21 years are the children. For every child born after 2001, they do not know what it is like to live without the sound of “Tseva Adom” piercing the air at all hours of the day and night or the threat of a Kassam rocket coming through your bedroom ceiling or wall.
We are a non-profit organization recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 and with a total volunteer staff. We distribute 92% of all donations to the people of Sderot. All donations are tax deductible.
