I know we are Hope For Sderot and our stories should relate to the things we do and what is happening in Sderot, but I want to share a story that came my way. It is a story of a little girl who lives in Philidelphia Pennsylvania. This is the e-mail I received…

“I have been following this little girl’s journey with cancer for several
months now. You can read her entire story on the link, but please at least
read today’s entry. She will be in isolation for 25-35 days and I thought it would be nice for her to get some notes from us to encourage her. For those of you who are out of the country I know it would take an extra effort but it would be very special for her to get something from say, Israel or Italy or England. Please pray for her and God bless you!”

That post said…

“Hello everyone this is just a quick update to let everyone know that I am well under way into my 8th round of Chemo and this Friday will be my second Transplant. I had a really good Friday and Saturday, but Sunday was the start of the rough days. I started getting sick a lot and by today the mucisitais started setting in. I just wanted to let everyone know my room number so if anyone wanted to send me any cards, that would be great. I really have become hooked on receiving my mail once a day and Mommy sitting down with me and reading all the nice words of encouragement, jokes, what everyone is up to and support from everyone out there. Stickers are nice too, but I still have a lot from last time and I just look so forward to mail time, it really peps me up and gives me extra strength. Brookie
