Have you ever felt like you just have to get away, leave it all behind and have a break from the daily trials of life? Well so do the people of Sderot who have lived with the daily assault on their lives from Gazan terrorists… that is exactly what we will be doing for 52 of our fellow Sderotians.

On March the 23rd we will be loading up the bus and heading to En Gedi for a day of relaxation at the Dead Sea and the spa, at Kibbutz En Gedi. One of our volunteer’s sons works at Kibbutz En Gedi and has given us a price that makes it not only affordable but doable.

In addition, we have been blessed with a donation of a bus, free of charge, for our one day get-a-way!

After a day of the sun, the Dead Sea and lunch at the Kibbutz, we will head to Jerusalem and the Kotel (The Western Wall) for a time of prayer and spending time in the old city. We will be back in Sderot around eight at night to once again live life with one ear open for the sound of the incoming terrorist rockets.
