Empowering hope

Supporting the children of Sderot

Have you ever considered, EVERY child born since 2002 does not know what life is without the sound of “Tseva Adom” blaring any time of the day or night. They have lived with the constant threat of not knowing where or when the next Kassam will be fired at them. For them, running to a bomb shelter is a way of life for them.

 

This is how we support the children of Sderot. Each school year we supply children with backpacks and the necessary supplies to fill them.

For those who need help to purchase books, we are there for them. Our school lunch program makes sure no child goes without lunch or breakfast.

Our mission

Soldier support

We have remembered our soldiers during the holiday seasons for years. Since 7 October we have stepped up our support.  Hope For Sderot have furnished Jackets, hoodies, socks, blankets and thermal tee shirts, gloves and other personal supplies.

Our programs

Supporting our citizens

Since 2009 Hope For Sderot helped to feed those who have been affected by the years of terrorist attacks. Many  jobs were lost as factories moved to safer areas, leaving a double digit unemployment rate. Along with food Hope For Sderot supplies diapers, baby clothing, blankets and formula.

From the Frontlines

Building community

Whether it is the children of Sderot, our soldiers that put their lives on the line everyday for our safety, the working poor, single parents or the elderly Hope For Sderot has had an open hand and an open heart for them all.

Hope For Sderot IS on the front lines, running to bomb shelter just like everyone else who lives here. Our windows rattle with each kassam and our homes have been hit by Kassams. Even still, it is a privilege to serve the residents of Sderot.

For the past 19 years it has been through your unwavering love and support that has allowed us to make the impact we have made. For that we will never be able to thank you enough.
