Sitrtie is the sister of Mazel (you can read Mazel’s story here). Sitrtie is a wife and the mother of five. She was diagnosed two years ago of having a cancer. She went through a regiment of treatment and that seemed to put the cancer into remission.

Recently she was not feeling good and went to the doctor for a checkup, only to find that the cancer has returned and this time even more present then before. She has been diagnosed with having Glioblastoma. Most all people with Glioblastoma die from it. The average survival time with standard-of-care radiation and chemotherapy with temozolomide is 15 months; with out this treatment you have about 4 1/2 months. This treatment is not covered by the national insurance here in Israel. She has managed to take all their assets to pay for the first treatment, a staggering 20,000 shekels ($5000) which she will undergo next week. She is not sure what she will do for the next treatment or how many treatments she will need. All she does know is that without the treatments her future is neither bright or long. We are trusting G-D for a miracle of healing and or the ability for the costly treatments which will at least give her a little more time.
